ROBERT “BOB” GLANCY, 67 of Lebanon passed away on Wednesday July 27, 2016 at the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House.
Bob was born December 15, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA the son of Blair and Alice (Hannah) Glancy. He attended school in Los Angeles and graduated from Montebello High School. After high school, he attended two years of college in California.
He married Janet Lookabaugh in Los Angeles on July 11, 1970. The couple lived in California for several years, moving to Lebanon in 1978. Bob worked for Linn Gear in Lebanon for a time before starting his own business. He owned and operated Pacific Custom Products in Salem from 1982 until retiring in 2010.
Bob was a member of Lebanon Calvary Chapel. He enjoyed spending time with his family and having family BBQ’s and shooting guns.
He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew on September 4, 2014 and by a sister, Barbara Jean Hales.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Janet; sons, Patrick of Queensland, Australia and Nathan of Micronesia; brothers, Glen of Valencia, CA, Bill of Morro Bay, CA and Jim of Shelley, ID; four grandchildren, Chelsea, Emily, Araya and Caleb.
Viewing will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday August 2, 2016 at the Huston-Jost Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday August 3, 2016 at the Lebanon Calvary Chapel (3980 S. Santiam Hwy Lebanon, OR). A Private family burial will follow in the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
